SIGAL was founded in 1999 and is a member of UNIQA Group Austria since March 2007. Since 2003 the company is the leading insurance company in Albania and is licensed for all classes of non-life insurance, re-insurance and life insurance (SIGAL Life UNIQA Group Austria). The main business is car insurance. The sales network of the company throughout the whole country consists of more than 120 representative offices with around 220 exclusive agents. Products and services are sold through employed sales staff, banks, brokers and cooperation partners.
