This company of the UNIQA Group Austria was formed in 1999 as a result of the name change and brand implementation of UNIQA, and conducts all lines of personal insurance. The health, accident and life insurance products are distributed through a captive sales force, brokers as well as general agencies. The UNIQA Personenversicherung, a 63,4% subsidiary of UNIQA Versicherungen AG, is Austria’s leading health insurer with a market share of around 50%.
