UNIQA Protezione S.p.A was founded in 1920 with the name "Carnica Assicurazioni S.p.A" and became a member of UNIQA Group Austria in the year 2000. The main lines of business are motor, casualty, fire and third party insurance, which are sold through a diffused network of agencies in Northern and Central Italy. In addition, standardized products have been sold through the bank channel since the beginning of 2005.
