Andreas Brandstetter, as a member of the management board, is responsible for "New Markets", "International Bancassurance" and "Mergers & Acquisitions"".

In addition to these activities, Andreas Brandstetter was from 2002 to 2006 also a member of the management board of CALL DIRECT Versicherung AG, a 100% subsidiary of UNIQA Versicherungen AG, specialising in direct marketing. There he was responsible for marketing and sales.

Since 2000 Brandstetter was active as general secretary of UNIQA Versicherungen AG. Previously, the graduated political scientist and MBA (Californian state university) was assistant to the general manager since 1997, and was responsible for the merger and restructuring to UNIQA Versicherungen AG in 1999. In 1995, he took over the leadership of the EU office of the Austrian Raiffeisen union in Brussels. In addition to building up a central service and information post, the main focus of his activities in Brussels, Brandstetter occupied himself intensely with the subjects financial services, media, construction and agrarian economy. In 1994, Andreas Brandstetter graduated and became deputy general secretary of the Austrian Peoples Party as well as chief managing director of the Austrian Peoples Party with the memorandum for party management, finance, personnel , respectively co-ordinating the provinces and federation.

After graduating in political science and sojourns abroad in the USA and Luxenburg, Brandstetter began his career in 1993 in the cabinet of the then vice chancellor, Erhard Busek. Besides his function as personal secretary, he was also responsible for the areas of economics, industry and EU.

Andreas Brandstetter, born in 1969, is married and father of three children. Besides various sporting activities such as soccer, motor bike riding and alpine ski sport, also literature and various music count to his leisure time activities.
