It is UNIQA’s sponsoring strategy to develop medium- and long-term partnerships. This involvement is not limited pure funding. UNIQA is active and goes in for sponsoring which is both individual and finely tuned to the needs and requirements of its partners.

UNIQA sponsors the Salzburg Festival

Since it was founded in 1917 the Salzburg Festival stands for superb performances by world-famous interpreters. The maintenance of this jewel of Austrian culture involves large sums annually, which could not be raised without corresponding sponsorship.

Since 2002 UNIQA has been one of the main sponsors of the Salzburg Festival, thus making cultural events of high quality possible.

UNIQA supports Austrian museums

Another focus of UNIQA’s cultural commitment is the field of visual arts. Within a framework of long-term co-operations, UNIQA is sponsoring, among other things in 2005, the exhibition “Nordic Dawn. Modernism`s Awakening in Finland” in the Österreichische Galerie Belvedere, as well as the exhibition, “Goya – Prophet of Modernity”, in the Kunsthistorisches Museum. Inaddition to that, UNIQA is the sponsor of the exhibition “Everyday Life – A Manual” at the Technisches Museum Wien in Vienna in 2005.

Co-operation with Vienna Children`s Theatre

UNIQA supports the Vienna Children’s Theatre because children are the most important capital for our future. Initiatives such as the Vienna Children’s Theatre substantially contribute to imparting cultural values to children and to encouraging their creativity.
