On 24 June at the Mannheim provincial court, the Mannheimer AG Holding, joined by the UNIQA International Investment Management Co. Ltd. , achieved a settlement with the Mannheimer AG Holding shareholders who had brought rescission charges against resolutions passed at the Annual General Meeting on 27 February, 2004. The dispute has now been declared settled. The rescission plaintiffs have withdrawn their charges.

The corporate action decided on by the overwhelming majority of the shareholders on 27 February, 2004  with the UNIQA International Investment Management Co Ltd. as sole subscriber to the increase in share capital thus permits the increase to be implemented by the due date, 30 June, 2004. Immediate permission from the cartel authority is anticipated.
