Results of the Conversion of UNIQA Participation Certificates into Ordinary Shares By announcement in the Official Supplement of the Wiener Zeitung published on August 21st, 1999, UNIQA Versicherungen AG has made an offer to all holders of participation certificates of the company to convert these into ordinary shares. This offer refers to 419,782 participation certificates to bearer with a nominal value of ATS 100 each, hence a total nominal value of ATS 41,978,200. The period of conversion was set from October 4th, 1999, to October 22nd,1999.  Conversion figures In response to the conversion offer 388,527 UNIQA participation certificates with a nominal value/unit of ATS 100, amounting to a total nominal value of ATS 38,852,700, were converted into 388,527 ordinary shares with a nominal value/unit of ATS 100, amounting to a total nominal value of 38,852,700 ATS. The conversion resulted in a contingent increase in capital by which the share capital of the company was raised to a nominal value of ATS 1,495,723,500 made up of 14,957,235 shares to bearer at a nominal value of ATS 100. 2.
