With the decision to sell the 50% share of UNIQA Versicherungen in BV-ARAG Allgemeine Rechtsschutz-Versicherungs-Aktiengesellschaft to ARAG Deutschland, the restructuring of this field within the UNIQA Group Austria has now been concluded.

Preceding the decision, corresponding negotiations took place with ARAG Deutschland.

As a consequence of the merger between Bundesländer-Versicherung and Austria-Collegialität and the founding of UNIQA last year, it was sought to restructure the legal cover field within the Group. After notice had been given last year concerning the organizational agreement with BV-ARAG, with UNIQA for some time now having only marketed its own legal cover policies, the sale of the shares was a logical step.  UNIQA also offers in the field of legal cover a number of products and services of the highest quality, with long-term value at a fair price.  The insurer and partner to the contract is UNIQA Sachversicherung AG.

BV-ARAG        
BV-ARAG started up in 1977. Exclusively involved in legal cover insurance, the company was founded by the former Bundesländer-Versicherung and ARAG Deutschland.
