UNIQA FitnessAgent: www.uniqa.at/fit UNIQA's New Interactive Approach to Fitness on the Internet UNIQA has developed a new e-health line in cooperation with sysis and introduces the "UNIQA Fitness Agent" on the Internet, which adds more fun to a serious matter. After the successful launch of MedUNIQA (http://www.meduniqa.at/), a website for wellness and preventive medicine and a similar campaign called "Fit with Stephan Eberharter", UNIQA once again promotes preventive healthcare. In addition to the Fitness Agent, the micro-site also offers 12 pieces of fitness advice introduced by Olympic and World Cup Winner Stephan Eberharter and an interesting and, above all, a "healthy" quiz game with attractive prizes. UNIQA Fitness Agent The "UNIQA Fitness Agent” can be found on UNIQA’s micro-site http://www.uniqa.at/fit and is an interactive guide to fitness, wellness and healthcare. It is a questionnaire designed to collect data on users’ personal needs and habits. The agent then builds up a profile of the client, passes it to an analyser and finally presents the customer with his very personal fitness plan. The recommendations include a training plan as well as advice on motivation and nutrition. In short and entertaining sessions, users receive quick and round-the-clock feed-back and advice on how to improve or watch their physical condition. Although this “advice agent” will never replace the services of a real fitness coach, it is meant give some insight into the state of one’s personal health and to offer advice on how to improve it. All users participating in the quiz have the chance to win a session with one of UNIQA’s “real” Vital Coaches. Prize winners will get a thorough analysis of their personal health and will also be given advice and coaching on their road to better fitness. The UNIQA Fitness Agents is largely based on the successful promotion campaign “Fit with Stephan Eberharter”. It has been supervised by Bettina Kurz, one of UNIQA’s leading Vital Coaches, who accompanied Stephan Eberharter through the “Sport am Sonntag”-programme broadcast on Austrian TV. The design as well as its creative and technical implementation was the work of sysis, a Vienna-based software company. About UNIQA The UNIQA Group is Austria’s leading company in personal insurance and market leader in health insurance. The group also works on the international market and has affiliated companies in 12 European countries. Its strengths lie in customer service and innovative solutions for various segments of the insurance business. UNIQA uses its know-how in health insurance to promote preventive medicine. Two years ago, UNIQA was the first insurance company in Austria with a medical call centre and a web site called MedUNIQA for healthcare and wellness advice. Last year, UNIQA once more set a signal in healthcare by launching the “Leichter Leben”- (Light and Easy) series in cooperation with the Austrian Television Network. UNIQA customers are offered innovative and future-oriented products and healthcare services, such as “Vital Plan”, “Vital Club” and “Vital Coach”. About sysis Sysis, a Vienna-based software company, can look back on more than ten years of experience in the field of individual concepts of advisory and marketing tools. Sysis focuses on the interface between customer and supplier and takes special care of the customer’s needs and expectations. Sysis has vast experience in personalising contents and in profiling and matching the technologies necessary to achieve the intended results. Sysis’ profiling technology was awarded the National Multimedia Award 2001 in the category of “digital business”. In its justification, the jury particularly underlined the company’s merits in the innovative transfer of information and communication on the internet. In this context, UNIQA’s new micro website is worth mentioning. By choosing http://www.uniqa.at/fit/ the internet user finds up-to-date pieces of fitness advice by Stefan Eberharter, Austrias’ leading ski champion and Bettina Kurz, UNIQA vital coach. The easy-to-do and efficient advice programme shows yet once more that UNIQA is aware of its responsibility in such vital fields as wellness and healthcare. Pieces of advice proceed in a step-wise approach to wellness and good physical condition, starting with the right kind of preparation (medical check-up) and advancing to power and endurance work-outs as well as nutrition and physical regeneration. UNIQA’s interactive and dynamic website also offers a glimpse behind the scenes: ”Making Of” is a permanent sub-site with changing photos and video clips taken from the shows of the “Fit with Stephan Eberharter” TV programme. The website programme includes weekly quizzes with attractive prizes, new links to other healthcare sites and a weekly newsletter addressing issues of physical wellness. The micro site has been designed by Chris Quinn of “future bytes”, a Vienna-based agency. 8.
