In Hartwig Löger (37) the UNIQA Group has acquired an experienced expert in insurance. Löger was previously marketing manager for more than five years with the Donau Versicherungs-AG, where he was responsible for the setting up of new organizational structures for exclusive marketing. In his new position with UNIQA International, Hartwig Löger will also be co-ordinating marketing in the foreign companies of the Group.

His family is very important to Löger, the father of two children, leaving him little time for his sporting and musical interests.

Dr. Andreas Brandstetter, the member of the Management Board responsible for foreign bujsiness: “We are pleased to have the additional know-how that Mr. Löger will bring to our insurance Group. Because of his marketing experience, we shall certainly reach our targets in Central Europe more quickly than originally planned.”

UNIQA International Versicherungs-Holding is a 100% subsidiary of the mother company, UNIQA Versicherungen AG, which is listed on the stock exchange. Currently UNIQA is engaged not only in its home market, but also in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and Liechtenstein. In the medium term Hungary and Slovenia rate as strategic targets, where UNIQA is thinking about acquiring majority shareholdings in existing companies and also setting up new companies.
