The responsibilities for the divisions within the stock-quoted UNIQA Versicherungen AG remain unchanged and the contracts of CEO Konstantin Klien, and the other four members of the Management Board, Hannes Bogner, Andreas Brandstetter, Karl Unger and Gottfried Wanitschek will be extended until September 2013. Born in 1969, Andreas Brandstetter will assume his function of Deputy Chief Executive of UNIQA Versicherungen AG with immediate effect.

Similar guidelines were issued for the Members of the Management Boards of the Austrian Insurance Companies. The Boards of UNIQA Personenversicherung AG, UNIQA Sachversicherung AG, Raiffeisen Versicherung AG, FinanceLife Lebensversicherung AG, Salzburger Landes-Versicherung AG and Call Direct Versicherung AG will make their decisions accordingly.

Christian Sedlnitzky (born in 1946) will retire at the end of 2009 after serving the Management Board of Raiffeisen Versicherung for 24 years. Klaus Perkarek (born in 1956) will step into his function and assume the overall responsibility for the company. Pekarek has been appointed to the Board of Raiffeisen Versicherung in July 2009 and will serve together with Martin Sardelic.
